The permenant top layer of your car’s paintwork, known as the ‘clear coat’ is rather think and the paint correction process uses an appropriate abrasive material to remove (or ‘cut) a thin layer of this clear coat that is dull from oxidation or has visible light scratches and swirl marks to restore gloss giving you a brighter and clearer finish.
